Timepiece Video was originated by myself, Mindy Kramer. The last half of 2005 brought many changes for me. I had a daughter, lost my father, got married and moved into a different house. Considering I had gone through four of the five major stressors in life, I wondered what life was going to bring next.

During the spring of 2006, I did a lot of soul searching, prayed and tried to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up (please understand that I just had my 34th birthday, so you would think I would have answered that question a long time ago). I had a job that was great - great people, great opportunities and great benefits, but it wasn't enough. I wasn't sure what WAS missing, until I realized that everything in my life focused on my family. It took one crazy summer to make me realize that. That's when I knew that something needed to change.

My mother changed my life and I don't think she knows it. All it took was one question - 'Why don't you look at starting a franchise?'. When all I could think of was a fast food restaurant, she told me that not all franchises are like that. There are TONS of different things. So I began looking and about 3 months later, I found Family Tree Video out of San Diego, CA. I purchased an opportunity from them, and here I am today! I received great training, equipment and tremendous support from FTV.

One thing that drew me to this company was the product. I would give anything to have one video of my father before he died. To hear his voice and watch his life story would be pricelss, but unfortunately, I found this opportunity a little too late. I hope that every family has the opportunity to do this and realizes how important it is.
